Did WWE Superstar Danhausen's curse doom Cleveland Cavaliers?
It took a long time in Game 1 before WWE Superstar Danhausen's curse 'impacted' the Cavaliers.
Professional wrestling is one of the best theatres of the bizarre and absurd when it comes to some of its characters. The one that is white-hot now in WWE is Danhausen. And he's riding quite the wave.
Danhausen can't do anything wrong. Just ask New York Knicks fans. The WWE Superstar, who is more character than wrestler, put a curse on the Cleveland Cavaliers .
Putting curses on people and other objects is part of his act. For 41 minutes on Tuesday, Danhausen's curse seemed more folly. Then, the Knicks outscored the Cavaliers 44-11 in the final seven minutes of the fourth quarter and overtime to make it seem as if Danhausen did have some kind of otherworldly power.
