Rodriguez took nasty hits on his right leg and Arozarena came up with a heartfelt yet hilarious gesture. The Mariners centerfielder endured one of the more painful at-bats of the season. He fouled consecutive pitches off his lower body, first striking his right leg before another ball caught him near the shin area.

This left J-Rod struggling as he needed a moment to regroup in the batter's box. Waiting next in line to bat, Arozarena made sure the moment ended in comic relief. Arozarena walked over and jokingly showed support by kissing J-Rod's leg.
