The 3-pointer that Cleveland Cavaliers standout Sam Merrill fired late Tuesday night, which would've won Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks , somehow got Mike Breen to turn that four-letter word into about three syllables. It's Breen's signature call, "Bang!
" He pulls it out when players make incredible shots in crucial moments. A game-winner by Merrill in the playoffs certainly would've qualified. And the shot, off a feed from James Harden in a tie game, looked good.
