SMCC, Milan take first in Huron League track and field finals under first-year coach; Ida baseball clinches LCAA title.
NEW BOSTON — A pair of first-year coaches made an impression on the Huron League. St. Mary Catholic Central boys coach Roman Smith and Milan girls coach Noah Genson led their teams to championships in the league meet on Tuesday, May 19.
Both meets were extremely close. SMCC’s boys scored 114. 5 points to hold off Jefferson’s second-place total of 98.

The girls meet was even tighter. Milan scored 118. 5 to finish three ahead of SMCC.
