The NFL Honors represent one of the sport’s biggest stages for recognizing the NFL season’s most impressive accomplishments. Not only on the field, but off it as well. Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was among the players honored.

However, multiple blunders surrounding NFL Honors have since overshadowed the recognition. Following the NFL’s latest mistake, Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s brother, professional baseball player Canaan Smith-Njigba, blasted the league on social media . Not only did the NFL embarrass his brother during the ceremony, but it also sent him the wrong trophy for his Offensive Player of the Year award.

Canaan Smith-Njigba first highlighted the NFL fining Jaxson for a goalpost dunk celebration. Only to later sell licensed photos of the moment. He then turned his attention to the string of issues tied to NFL Honors.
