Giants' trade-block Thibodeaux shares disdain for Cowboys, 'I hate them'

Yahoo Sports

Kayvon Thibodeaux added fuel to the rivalry between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys by saying he "hates" his NFC East foes.

There’s nothing like a good old-fashioned NFL rivalry, and some of the best in the league reside in the NFC East where the Dallas Cowboys , New York Giants , Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders all dislike each other to infinite degrees. That hatred goes not only for the fans of these four teams but it also gets ingrained into the players. Nowhere is that more obvious than with Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, who expressed his feelings towards the Cowboys at a recent town hall event.

com/OXaUr4pfcm — Ryan Dunleavy (@rydunleavy) May 18, 2026 It didn’t use to be this way for Thibodeaux, who grew up a Cowboys fan. However, when you get drafted by a rival, that loyalty gets tossed out of the window. This also isn’t the first time the fifth-overall pick in the 2022 draft has had an issue with the Cowboys, or their players.

Thibodeaux had a heated exchange with former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant over the Giants letting Saquon Barkley leave in free agency and sign with the Eagles . That was tense exchange on X. com that probably didn’t help smooth tensions between the player and his feeling towards Dallas.
