BENTON — Brodie Garber has returned to his coaching roots. After two years coaching the Fairfield High School boys basketball team, the school announced on Tuesday that Garber will once again coach the Falcons' girls beginning next fall. Garber replaces Kyle Hartman, who recently took the girls head coaching position at Warsaw.

Fairfield finished last season at 20-7, winning both a sectional and regional championship under Hartman. Garber coaches the Fairfield girls from 2012-23, posting 10 winning seasons, including the 2023 Class 3A state championship team, which was led by his daughter Brea Garber. His Fairfield teams posted a record of 180-89, which included four sectional titles, three regional crowns and the 2023 title.

The Fairfield boys were 29-16 the past two years under Garber. "I am extremely excited to come back to lead the girls' program at Fairfield,'' Garber said. "I am looking forward to getting into the gym with our girls right away this summer!
