Goshen's Cline, DuBois honored by IHSBCA
Goshen High School senior Braxton Cline and RedHawks’ head coach JJ DuBois have been honored by the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association as the Player and Coach of the year in District C. Cline, who was named Player of the Year is currently hitting . 520 with four doubles, three triples, four homers and 34 RBIs.
He’s also scored 34 runs. DuBois has led the RedHawks to a 16-5 mark so far this season, including a 12-1 mark and a title in the Northern Lakes Conference. He also coached Goshen to the Class 4A Final Four in 2025.
In addition to Cline, area players nominated for the North-South All-Star game include Elkhart catcher Max Shreiner, Jimtown infielder Brodric Kaler, Concord teammates Mark Harman (outfielder) and Joey Hauger (pitcher), Goshen pitcher Ryen Diaz and Penn’s Bennett Hartford (infielder) and Cayden Stockbridge (pitcher). Penn’s Tom Stanton has been named the District C Assistant Coach of the year. Stanton has been a part of three Kingsmen state titles.
Goshen’s Conrad Lehman has been named Umpire of the Year.
