Health updates are our chief interest this early, though the drills are well worth watching.

These OTAs are an opportunity to see photos and video clips of players to whet your appetite for more substantial updates from minicamp, training camp, and ultimately the season, but there are still fun moments and worthwhile updates. Iโd say the most worthwhile updates thus far concern two injured Falcons expected to have prominent roles in 2026. The first is Michael Penix Jr.
, who continues to throw and participate in drills, but is not yet doing team work. Kevin Stefanski gave an update on Michael Penix Jr. : Said he is able to do more football movements now, so will see Mike in individual drills and 7-on-7 drills, but they will hold him out of team periods.

The two threw side-by-side today, which means Penix is on track for that outcome if he keeps progressing. Michael Penix Jr.
