The Halos left it late on Monday, finally breaking up A’s starter JT Ginn’s no-hitter in the bottom of the ninth with a no-out single from Adam Frazier. Frazier’s hit turned over the lineup and brought shortstop Zach Neto to the plate. Neto crushed a 2-0 sinker to center field, clearing the fence and winning the Angels the game in dramatic fashion.
While the Angels’ current no-hitter streak is impressive, Neto—and likely the rest of the Angels—had a different streak on their mind.
