Rashee Rice ordered to serve jail time: Everything we know
Court records show the Chiefs wide receiver violated his probation.
Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice did not face discipline from the NFL last season after domestic abuse allegations. But the legal troubles are continuing for the embattled Chiefs receiver. And now, he is heading back to jail.
Here's what we know so far. Back in March of 2024, Rice was the driver of a Lamborghini Urusย during a multi-car collision in Dallas. Rice was driving 119 mph in the crash that left multiple people injured.
And on top of that, he left the scene before police and first responders arrived. Rice would later be arrested and charged with multiple felonies. That is what's coming back into play on Tuesday.
Rice's guilty plea Stemming from that 2024 crash, Rice pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges. Facing the potential of multiple years in prison, Rice agreed to serve 30 days in jail and five years of probation with the guilty plea. The case would have been dismissed with a completed probation.
