The 2026 NJSIAA Tournament was seeded Tuesday for the state’s 16 public-school brackets and four non-public sections with play to begin May 26

The 2026 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament brackets were released Tuesday, setting up the road to this year’s high school softball state championships. Here are the first-round pairings. Bracket subject to change before becoming official Wednesday at noon.

Tournament begins play Tuesday, May 26 with first-round games in the public brackets, with the non-public sections getting started the following day. Public quarterfinals are slated for May 28, semifinals for June 2 and public sectional finals on June 4, all the higher-seeded school. State group semifinals are June 8 at the team with more power points, and the state public finals Friday, June 12 at Ivy Hill Park on the campus of Seton Hall University.

Non-public quarterfinals will be played May 29, semis June 3 and finals June 5. Non-public finals are scheduled for Wednesday, June 10 at Ivy Hill.
