FSU softball continues historic run with four more national honors
Florida State softball earned four Softball America All-American honors, led by Isa Torres, Jazzy Francik, Ashtyn Danley, and Jaysoni Beachum.
The accolades keep coming for Florida State softball. Four Seminoles have been named Softball America All-Americans , headlined by junior shortstop Isa Torres earning first team recognition while pitcher Jazzy Francik and pitcher/outfielder Ashtyn Danley, along with third baseman Jaysoni Beachum, each collected second team honors — a haul that underscores why this program remains one of the most decorated in the country. The quartet's recognition caps a remarkable individual awards run for a Florida State team that nearly swept the ACC's major postseason hardware.
Isa Torres — First Team Torres put together one of the greatest individual seasons in college softball history. The junior shortstop finished with 98 hits on the season, tying the FSU single-season record, while posting a . 530 batting average and 16 home runs.
Torres broke the NCAA record with 16 hits in 16 consecutive at-bats and reached base safely in 23 straight plate appearances. She won the ACC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards and was named a Top 3 finalist for the USA Softball National Player of the Year. Jazzy Francik — Second Team Francik finished with a 24-3 record (most wins by a Seminole pitcher since Kathryn Sandercock in 2023) with a team-leading 1.
