OSSAA football coaching news: Darwin Franklin leaves Millwood for Edmond Santa Fe

Darwin Franklin, who led Millwood to two state titles, is the new football coach at Edmond Santa Fe, replacing Kyle White.

Darwin Franklin has been hired as Edmond Santa Fe’s football coach, the team announced Tuesday. Franklin had been Millwood ’s head coach since 2013. He had a 127-32 record while leading his alma mater, winning Class 2A state titles in 2016 and 2017 and finishing as a state runner-up four times.

Franklin will fill the spot vacated by Kyle White , who stepped down as the Wolves’ coach and is now the school’s athletic director. More: Gov. Stitt signed new law opening transfers.
