After an eight-shot “World No. 1 being the World No. 1” victory last year, Scottie Scheffler returns as the defending champion/leader-in-the-clubhouse for this week’s CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
The Texas event is back at TPC Craig Ranch after an offseason renovation led by former pro Lanny Wadkins. And many are hoping the course will have a bit more teeth to it after Scheffler tied the PGA Tour’s all-time 72-hole scoring record a year ago at 31 under par.
