Kager Knueppel dominates AAU with Duke head coach Jon Scheyer in attendance
Shortly after submitting an official offer to Kager Knueppel, Duke head coach Jon Scheyer went to evaluate him in person.
Younger brother of former Duke alum Kon Knueppel, Kager Knueppel has turned heads on the AAU circuit early this summer. Playing for Team Herro, founded by Miami Heat star Tyler Herro, the 6'10" forward recently led his team to a 4-0 record in the Nike EYBL circuit. All the while, Knueppel leads all EYBL participants in scoring.
This comes not long after the Blue Devils submitted a formal scholarship offer to Knueppel. Duke head coach Jon Scheyer isn't stopping there, however, as he recently went to see him play in person . In addition to Kager, a third Knueppel brother also plays for Team Herro in a lower age division, Kinston Knueppel.
He is expected to graduate high school in the class of 2028, while Kager is expected one year sooner in 2027. This article originally appeared on Duke Wire: Kager Knueppel dominates AAU with Duke's Jon Scheyer in attendance
