Packers GM Brian Gutekunst announces personnel department promotions: Milt Hendrickson promoted to vice president of player personnel; John Wojciechowski replaces him as director of player personnel.
After Jon-Eric Sullivan’s departure, the Green Bay Packers have reshuffled their personnel department under General Manager Brian Gutekunst. Milt Hendrickson, entering his eighth season with the team and previously the director of football operations, has been promoted to vice president of player personnel; Sullivan's former role. John Wojciechowski, a 14-year veteran entering his 15th season, replaces him as the team’s director of player personnel.
Williams, an 19-season pro with additional college scouting experience, advances to director of player personnel after five years in senior player personnel executive roles. Gissendaner, a seasoned 26-year pro with a background in pro scouting, assumes director of pro scouting following four seasons as the team’s senior player personnel executive. Matt Malaspina, an 10-year veteran and now director of college scouting since 2018, moves up to senior player personnel executive.
Pat Moore, a nine-season pro who has been assistant director of college scouting for Malaspina, ascends to director of college scouting. Luke Benuska joins as a new national scout, while Sam Seale is promoted to senior national scout after eight years in the past role. Mike Owen, a 15-year veteran and seven-time NFL draft pick, moves up to national scout, with an additional eight-season stint as a college scout.
