Bill Belichick reacts to Pro Football Hall of Fame snub in most Bill Belichick way possible: 'Out of my control'
Bill Belichick was on to the next topic after his Hall of Fame snub was brought up.
Over his coaching career, Bill Belichick achieved the highest highs. He won six Super Bowls, has the most playoff wins in NFL history and sits third in regular-season victories. But it wasn’t enough to get Belichick inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame during his first year on the ballot.
You might have heard about that. It was a pretty big deal. While early reports suggested Belichick was “puzzled” and “disappointed” by the decision, the coach hasn’t spoken much publicly about the snub.
But Belichick did offer up some thoughts during an appearance on the “Hang out with Sean Hannity” podcast, which drops Tuesday. When asked about the snub, Belichick responded in the most Belichick way possible, saying the decision was, “Out of my control. ” Bill Belichick reacts to not getting into the Hall of Fame and the support he received afterward.
