Manchester United has received a major boost in their pursuit of Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Touré. The Ivorian international, known as “The Hurricane,” possesses impressive speed and quick feints but needs to improve decision-making. Despite initial interest from Newcastle United at €38m, Hoffenheim now demands around €30-40 million for the 20-year-old striker.

Manchester United has received a major boost as they look to secure Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Touré, according to German reports. The Ivorian international, who played alongside Amad on the African Cup of Nations, is known as “The Hurricane” due to his impressive speed and quick feints. Despite having room for improvement in decision-making, Touré’s ability to isolate opposition full-backs and beat them with ease is crucial in breaking through man-to-man defensive systems.

Initial reports suggested Hoffenheim would seek a club-record fee of €38m after Newcastle United paid that amount to sign Brazilian midfielder Joelinton. However, the club now demands around €30-40 million for Touré, weakening their bargaining position as they miss out on Champions League qualification with a 4-0 defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Red Devils are among several Premier League clubs interested in Touré, including Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.

The club’s leading targets include Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig and Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, but both would cost up to €100m each – a significant investment for United. Despite the competition, signing Touré at a price of around €30m (£26m) is considered a major boost for Manchester United’s plans this summer.
