Those two came within two years of each other and helped drag the Catalans out of the deep hole they dug themselves in. With Lewandowski announcing his departure from the club, Flick said finding a replacement will not be straightforward.
“It will NOT be easy to replace Lewandowski,” Flick said (as captured by Fabrizio Romano | @FabrizioRomano ). “He was the BEST striker of the past decade. It won’t be easy to replace him at all.
We’re going to have and wait and see if we sign a player, but it won’t be easy. ” The 61-year-old former Bayern and Germany coach has enough reason to call his striker one of the best in the world; it was at Bayern where the two proved to be some of the best in the business.
