When the New Orleans Saints signed running back Travis Etienne this offseason, all of the attention turned to what the franchise would do with Alvin Kamara.

Still with a year left on his deal, with Etienne coming in, naturally, head coach Kellen Moore would want to have Travis be the main guy, but where that leaves Kamara is anyone's guess. We have seen reports that Alvin would retire rather than play for another team, so that is at the back of the mind when thinking about what his future holds. But Saints general manager Mickey Loomis might have revealed what will be key to deciding Kamara's future in New Orleans.

"We're just trying to see how he's going to fit on our roster," Loomis said via the Associated Press . "Obviously there's a resource management element to it. We'll get to that over the next week or two.
