Arizona Cardinals open voluntary OTAs Monday
The Arizona Cardinals kicked off the final phase of their offseason program on Monday. What is left before summer break?
The Arizona Cardinals kicked off the third and final phase of the offseason program on Monday. They held their first practice of OTAs (voluntary organized team activities). In Phase 3, teams are able to practice offense vs.
defense. They might have helmets on but not pads. They can go 11-on-11 or 7-on-7.
Teams sometimes opt not to go 11-on-11. Teams can have up to 10 practices of OTAs. The Cardinals have nine such practices scheduled.
This part of the offseason program is still voluntary. After OTAs, the Cardinals have one week of mandatory minicamp. Here is what the schedule looks like for remainder of the offseason program.
