Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy revealed, per MassLive's Christopher Smith , that Anthony experienced some soreness while taking swings before Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals. The outfielder won't swing again until Thursday, at the earliest. "For the time being, weโre probably going to back off until we get through the off day," Tracy said.
"Obviously weโre not going to have him swinging through soreness and discomfort. So not as good of news today. But we will back off and see what happens after the off day.
