Yann Kamagate offered by Kentucky Basketball
Kamagate is fighting to be the No. 1 overall player in the 2028 class.
If a player is as good as class of 2028 No. 1 prospect Yann Kamagate, it’s best to get out in front of things and extend an offer. That’s what Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats are doing, offering Kamagate to make him the first player Kentucky has extended an offer to in the class of 2028.
Kamagate’s offer was reported by adidas 3SSB’s Compton Magic, where he’s playing up in age as a member of the 17U squad. He’s averaged 13. 9 points, 10.
4 rebounds, and 2. 9 blocks per game through the first two 3SSB sessions while shooting 64. 6% from the field.
Though he has two years of high school basketball remaining, Kamagate is expected to be ranked among the best players in the class of 2028. Some believe he will be the No. 1 player in the class of 2028, while 247 Sports already has him ranked fourth overall.
