On-Loan Sunderland Full-Back Is On The Radar Of Everton: What Should Le Bris Do? In a recent report , journalist Alan Nixon stated that on-loan Sunderland full-back Lutsharel Geertruida is on the radar of Everton. It is understood that the Toffees are showing interest in signing the Dutch talent, who is currently playing for the Black Cats while on loan from Red Bull Leipzig.
Geertruida’s Decent Loan Spell In English Football Geertruida has struggled to find consistency at times with his performances while on loan at the Wearside club this season. However, he has managed to put in a run of solid displays for the Black Cats after making 29 appearances for them in this campaign across various competitions. The 25-year-old has proven himself to be a solid option at right-back for Regis Le Bris’ side this season.
Hence, the Black Cats would have to step up their efforts if they want to make his loan move permanent this summer. His current contract at his parent club, RB Leipzig, will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Sunderland to sign him on the cheap later this year.
