The 2026 NSCIF softball first-round playoff matchups are set after a predictable play-in round in which every higher seed advanced. Foothill, West Valley and U-Prep are the only Redding-area teams remaining in the postseason. Foothill holds the No.
4 seed in Division II, West Valley is No. 1 in Division III and U-Prep holds the No. 3 seed in Division IV.
All first-round games will be played at 4 p. m. on Tuesday, May 19 at the higher-ranked team's home field.
