The Panthers are reportedly set to sign RB Miles Davis.

The Carolina Panthers are reportedly set to add a fresh pair of legs (and a pretty cool name) to their roster. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the reigning NFC South champions are signing running back Miles Davis. Per Wilson, the 6-foot-2, 202-pounder worked out for the team on Sunday.

Davis split his six collegiate campaigns between Brigham Young University and Utah State University. In his five years with the Cougars, he recorded 90 carries for 486 yards and a pair of touchdowns. In 2025, his lone season at Utah State, Davis notched 131 rushing attempts for 731 yards and eight scores over 13 games.

He also reeled in 28 receptions for 201 yards and three more touchdowns. Carolina's running back room—prior to Davis' addition—already features Chuba Hubbard, Jonathon Brooks, Trevor Etienne, AJ Dillon, Montrell Johnson Jr. and Anthony Tyus III.
