Former Badgers Star Joins SEC as Assistant
Dekker joins South Carolina as an assistant coach, bringing his experience from the NBA back to college basketball and the SEC.

Dekker was a first-round pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and has been playing professionally since then, with stints on teams like the Rockets, Clippers, Cavaliers, and Raptors.
Following his time away from college basketball, Dekker is excited to bring his experience back to the SEC and contribute to Coach Paris's program. Dekker expressed his gratitude for being asked to join Coach Parisโs team, saying it was โa dream opportunityโ after a storied career in the NBA. He looks forward to competing at the highest level of college basketball in the SEC.
