Cast your vote for Upstate Ingles girls' Athlete of the Week for May 11-17

Here’s a chance to vote for the Upstate Ingles  high school  girls' athlete of the week for May 11-17. Multiple votes are allowed until the poll closes at noon on May 21. This week’s candidates: Rebecca Okebe, Dorman:  Okebe won both hurdles events.

She took the 400 meters at 59. 73 seconds and the 100 meters at 13. 96 in the Class 5A-D1 state championships for Track and Field.

Ava Owens, Greenville:  Owens won the javelin at 42. 49 meters in the Class 5A-D2 state championships for Track and Field. Jewel Brantley, Greer:  Brantley won the 100 meters in 12.

26 seconds and finished second in the 200 in the Class 4A state championships for Track and Field. Anna Kate Barnett, Greer Middle College:  Barnett won shot put (12. 31 meters) and discus (35.
