As the Texas spring high school sports season marches on, The Standard-Times will continue accepting nominations for City National Bank Athlete of the Week throughout the year. Plenty of action and outstanding performances remain in the high school sports season as local track, baseball and softball teams compete in the postseason. This week's nominees Chloe Becker, Veribest girls track and field – She won the state title and set a state meet record in the 100 with a time of 12. 20, won the state title in the 200 with a 24. 78 and won bronze in the 400 relays as the anchor leg with a time of 51.
