Everrett Linn from Delta baseball, Eli Andrews from Wapahani baseball, and Preston McCorkhill from Wapahani boys track and field lead this week's poll.

The time has come to reveal this week's standout athletes from Wapahani, Delta, and Yorktown high schools across East Central Indiana. Here are some of the talented players who shone bright with their impressive performances last week. Starting off our poll is Everrett Linn from Delta baseball, who led his team to a 1-0 victory over Yorktown in the Delaware County Championship on May 16th.

Linn hit a crucial RBI single in the top of the third inning and made a clutch double play in the bottom of the third that kept the Tigers off the scoreboard. Next up is Isaac Whitt from Yorktown baseball, who pitched a no-hitter against Wes-Del on May 12th. He went the first three innings without allowing any hits or walks while striking out five batters.

On May 16th, Whitt had another strong performance in the Delaware County Championship, pitching all seven innings and surrendering just one earned run on three hits and a single walk with 11 strikeouts. Moving to Wapahani baseball, Eli Andrews has been having an outstanding season at the plate. He recorded a double during their 13-3 win over Winchester on May 11th and then hit a triple in his next game against Cowan on May 12th.

His RBI totals of three runs for Wapahani earned him 6,365 out of 15,991 votes cast (39. 8%) last week. For the track and field athletes, we have Wyatt Turner from Yorktown boys track and field, who won a time of 9:27.
