The Wizards have been in rebuild mode over the past few seasons, and it paid off recently, as they won the 2026 NBA Draft Lottery and will have the rights to the #1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. They made notable moves ahead of the trade deadline earlier this season to aquire Trae Young and Anthony Davis, and now have the opportunity to add a young player to their core.
