com! The build-up… It’s really starting to feel close to the end of this fantastic season as we prepare for our final game on the road. We have the distinction of closing Everton’s first season at the brand new Hill Dickinson Stadium, which we can add to the record books, along with the fact that we were the first side to not only play them there in the FA Cup, but to knock them out of the competition as well.

But it’s the penultimate game of a good, positive season for both clubs, although we’ve gone about it in slightly different ways. Everton might be one point and two places better off in the table, but due to how consistently inconsistent they’ve been, they might be wondering what might have been. The Toffees have not won, drawn, or lost in more than two successive games in the league this season.
