Michael-Albertville 8-2 on Saturday in the regular season finale, finishing with a 12-8 record. Bemidji scored the first run of the game in the third inning, an RBI single from Olivia Birt. In the bottom of the inning, the Knights scored four to take a 4-1 lead, never relinquishing it the rest of the game.
The Jacks would score one more run: a Clara Sherwood solo home run in the fourth inning to make it 4-2. STMA would tack on four more runs — including a three-run sixth inning — to win 8-2. BHS could only muster four hits off of STMA starter Stella Maulik, who went seven innings and struck out 10 Lumberjack batters.
