The former UFC double champ was scheduled to meet Michael Chandler at UFC 303 back in 2024, but a toe injury bounced “Notorious” from his comeback. McGregor and the promotion haven’t been able to come to terms on another fight ever since, but that all changed over the past month when Holloway’s name was brought to the table. Holloway, who is coming off a lackluster loss to Charles Oliveira back at UFC 326, is one of the most exciting fighters on the UFC roster today.
