CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Shauna Green is getting in on the Balkan recruiting train. According to Miško Ražnatović, the agent who represents Illinois men’s basketball’s Balkan players, Lara Brenjo of Serbia will join the Illini women’s team this year.
Brenjo plays for Mega Superbet out of Belgrade, the same club former Illini Mihailo Petrovic played for in Serbia. Another transfer from the Balkans to Illinois — although this time, a slightly different one😁😁! Lara Brenjo, a player for Mega Superbet, has committed to the Illinois Fighting Illini.
