UFC Vegas 117 video: Bernardo Sopaj clubs, subs Timmy Cuamba

Bernardo Sopaj is finding his way in the UFC after an unsuccessful promotional debut. At UFC Fight Night 276 , Sopaj (13-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) extended his winning streak to two when he clubbed and submitted Timmy Cuamba (10-4 MMA, 2-3 UFC) with a rear-naked choke at the 2:25 mark of Round 2. The bantamweight bout took place at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

It was a short left counter that initially sat Cuamba on the canvas. Cuamba tried to grab a leg but Sopaj hammered him over and over again with punches. Cuamba rolled from back to belly and Sopaj locked in the choke.
