After being picked to finish 13th in the SEC's preseason poll, Texas A&M baseball closed out the regular season with its sixth conference win on Saturday, locking a double-bye in the league tournament and a potential top-eight national seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies ' series win over Mississippi State was made possible by the fireworks from one of the most dangerous lineups in college baseball. Matched up against a pitching staff that ranked third in the conference in team ERA entering the weekend, Texas A&M scorched the Bulldogs with 29 runs and six home runs.
