Angkrish Raghuvanshi's stellar IPL 2026 season continues with an unbeaten 82, guiding Kolkata Knight Riders to a colossal 247/2 against Gujarat Titans. This marks his fifth 50-plus score, placing him among KKR's elite and in rare company league-wide for batsmen his age. His composure and acceleration were key in KKR's third-highest total ever.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi continued his breakout IPL 2026 season with yet another composed half-century, helping Kolkata Knight Riders post a massive 247/2 against Gujarat Titans at Eden Gardens on Saturday. Raghuvanshi has now matched the likes of Robin Uthappa and Gambhir, who each had five such scores in different seasons. The 21-year-old is also entering elite company across the league. Only Rishabh Pant in 2018 and Yashasvi Jaiswal in 2023 have recorded more 50-plus scores in an IPL season at the age of 21, with six each.

Raghuvanshi has now equalled Devdutt Padikkal’s tally of five from the 2022 season. Asked to bat first after GT skipper Shubman Gill opted to field on a sticky surface, KKR completely dismantled Gujarat’s bowling attack.

The innings was headlined early by Finn Allen, who hammered a breathtaking 93 off just 35 balls with 10 sixes after surviving two dropped catches. But after Allen’s dismissal, Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green ensured there was absolutely no slowdown. The duo stitched together an unbeaten 108-run stand for the third wicket in only 53 deliveries as GT’s bowlers and fielders endured a nightmare outing.
