UCLA Adds Three-Star CB Trey Hopkins to Class of 2027
Three-star cornerback Trey Hopkins reportedly committed to UCLA during his official visit with the program over the weekend, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. He is the 19th addition to UCLA’s Class of 2027 recruits. com/tLPHPM3C7j — Hayes Fawcett (@Hayesfawcett3) May 16, 2026 Ranked as the No. 16 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania, Hopkins has received more than 20 offers from various teams. But he ultimately chose UCLA over other top programs like Michigan State, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.
Hopkins received an offer from UCLA in February then visited the program on April 18. He said the Bruins’ coaching staff has made him feel like family. “The main reasons I chose UCLA were the family feel, the coaching staff and the countless opportunities both on and off the field,” Hopkins said, per Rivals.
