Close, but no cigar

We were better in the second half, but still not quite good enough … or lucky enough with the penalty shout(s) — especially the Jorrel Hato one. Semenyo’s finish was godly. So it goes.
Our best chance was Enzo’s soon after, but he hoisted his hooked effort over the bar. Unlucky. Carefree.
Just two changes from last weekend, with Sánchez coming back in to goal and Reece James getting the start instead of Andrey Santos It’s now 14 without a win against City in all competitions (since the 2021 Champions League final) And we’ve now lost seven (7! ) straight finals at Wembley (since the 2018 FA Cup final); that’s surely inconceivable Next up: Spurs at home on Tuesday; the last game at the Bridge this season; not much to fight for excpet to maybe keep Spurs’ relegation threat alive KTBFFH PLAYER RATINGS : View Link
