A new report suggests the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens may be on the verge of scooping up two of the multi-time Pro Bowl receivers still available in NFL free agency. The 2025 season brought something football fans are not accustomed to. Losing seasons from the league’s dynasty team, the Chiefs, and perennial playoff contenders, the Ravens.
Both franchises were hit by tough injuries and surprisingly underwhelming play this past season. However, the pair of AFC teams both feel they have made changes this offseason that will get them back into Super Bowl contention in 2026. However, they still have one obvious position on the roster that could use some help: The wide receiver corps.
Yet there are still some interesting veteran options on the market. And ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler suggested the pair of AFC powerhouses are likely candidates to pick one of them up. “You’ve got Keenan Allen , you’ve got Stefon Diggs , you’ve got Tyreek Hill , and you have a lot of teams that need help,” Fowler said on a Saturday edition of ESPN’s SportsCenter .
“The Kansas City Chiefs are a little thin at receiver. The Baltimore Ravens are a little thin, too. ” Why are Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs still in free agency?
