Rebilas-Imagn Images While plenty of teams in the NFL go back and forth re-designing their logos, there’s a reason why the Las Vegas Raiders have had minimal changes since 1964: You don’t mess with perfection. The Raiders logo is iconic, featuring a silver and black shield, an eye-patched pirate with an old school football helmet on, and a couple of swords behind his head to serve as a symbol that everyone wearing it is ready for battle. In a way, it perfectly captures the tough, rugged reputation that the organization has been about since its inception.

While Raider Nation knows it’s the best logo in the NFL, it’s nice to see that fans around the league are starting to take notice. The X/Twitter account NFL Fashion Advice recently conducted a playoffs-style tournament where people could vote on which team has the best primary logo. It started with each division, and Las Vegas handily won the AFC West with over 50 percent of the votes between the four teams.

Then, the Raiders took down the Buffalo Bills in the next round, before beating the Jacksonville Jaguars in the semi-finals and bringing home the championship against the Minnesota Vikings. It was a narrow margin versus Minnesota, though, as Las Vegas won with just 50. 3 percent of the vote.
