3 reasons Rams RB Blake Corum will break out in 2026

Blake Corum is poised to become a bigger part of the Rams offense in 2026, and he's a strong breakout candidate.

Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum had a strong second year in 2025. However, the numbers indicate he'll have a breakout season in 2026. Here are three stats that prove such a theory heading into his third season in the NFL.

5. 1 Corum averaged 5. 1 yards per carry last season, and if the Rams are looking to split carries between Corum and Kyren Williams, Corum is in position to achieve his first career 1,000-yard season in 2026.

Corum and Williams combined for 404 regular-season carries. Corum had 145, due to how the Rams managed the running back room. If they had split their carries by half, Corum would've had 202.

At 5. 1 yards per carry, that's 1,030 rushing yards Corum could've had last season. Corum is already expected to have a bigger role and has already produced in his smaller assignment.
