Vikings' new offensive trio gets chance to shine in Mexico City
Jordan Addison will have to prove himself this season with the Vikings. He could have his biggest game of the year in Mexico City vs the Niners
The NFL is making history on Sunday Night Football this year. The Minnesota Vikings will play the first SNF game outside the United States. Former USC Trojan Jordan Addison will hope to light it up in Mexico City on November 22 for the Week 11 matchup versus the San Francisco 49ers .
It has been a series of highs and lows for Jordan Addison so far in his tenure in Minnesota, but with a new quarterback in Kyler Murray, there is hope that both he and Justin Jefferson can get back to playing their best football with improved quarterback play. Jordan Addison, Justin Jefferson, and Kyler Murray will get a chance to put on a show in Mexico City, and hopefully by that point, that trio is connecting at their highest peak. The 49ers defense is much improved, but Kevin O'Connell has shown, with serviceable quarterback play, that he can have the Minnesota Vikings offense in top-notch shape.
With this matchup occurring later on in the season, this could be a game that has big playoff implications. For the Vikings to make the playoffs and win games such as this, Kyler Murray will have to be at his best. Jordan Addison and the top receiver in the NFL, Justin Jefferson, can directly help that.
Jordan Addison will have to prove himself this season, as his contract is almost up. A big game in a game such as this would definitely help. I expect much more from Addison this season, and this should be a game checkmarked on the schedule where he can have a big day versus a lesser 49ers secondary.
