Sports Illustrated Stadium, their home through at least the 2027 season, will be transformed into a Fan Hub during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosting watch parties and fan activations throughout the men’s global tournament rather than NWSL matches, a New York Red Bull team spokesperson told The Athletic .
The venue, owned and operated by Red Bull GmbH, which also owns MLS side NYRB, was rebranded in 2024 through a 13-year naming-rights agreement worth more than $100 million with Sports Illustrated Tickets. Despite the new branding, Red Bull remains in control of the stadium and its calendar. Gotham, as a secondary tenant, has very little leverage when scheduling priorities change.
