Steelers legend James Harrison makes crazy prediction about Pittsburgh's season
Former Steelers linebacker James Harrison thinks this year's team has the potential to finish 16-1.
On Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced their 2026 regular-season schedule. We've gone through the whole thing and offered up our own predictions for wins and losses and have the Steelers finishing 10-7 and teetering on the edge of making the playoffs in a crowded AFC North. He took to his Deebo and Joe podcast and gushed about the Steelers, going so far as to say the team could go 16-1. "After we pop them on December 20th, Baltimore, and then the Panthers , and then Tennessee, we're resting," Harrisonsaid. "We done won the North.
We probably sitting there fighting for [the AFC's top seed] and fighting for the bye. Maybe 14-3, 13-4 at worst … That's my worst-case scenario … 16-1, [best-case scenario]. " While we appreciate Harrison's optimism, this isn't very realistic.
His worst-case scenario is 13-4, and while we didn't predict that, there's no doubt that if the team gets Aaron Rodgers back and he can step his game up from last season, it is possible.
