Tennessee-Oklahoma baseball game suspended due to inclement weather.
Game 2 of Tennessee's SEC baseball series against Oklahoma was suspended due to lightning in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area Friday. The Vols (36-18, 14-14 SEC) are leading the Sooners (31-19, 13-15 SEC), 5-3, with Oklahoma batting in the seventh inning. There is one out and a runner on first base.
The contest will resume at 2 p. m. EDT at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Game 3 of the SEC series will be contested approximately 45 minutes following the completion of the suspended game. It will be a nine-inning contest. Oklahoma led, 3-0, after the first inning.
