Oregon softball pitcher Lyndsey Grein misses Ducks' NCAA Eugene Regional opener with an eye infection
Oregon softball ace pitcher Lyndsey Grein didn't start in the Ducks' opening game of the NCAA Tournament May 15 but is in the dugout with a large bandage over her left eye. The senior, who was slated to start against Idaho State Friday in the Eugene Regional game, has an infection in her eye according to a team spokesman, and is day-to-day for the rest of the weekend. Taylour Spencer started in place of Grein against the Bengals.
