MSU football working to flip SEC commit, offers 3-star LB
Michigan State football is actively working to flip a linebacker prospect committed to an SEC school. Caleb Green of Lee's Summit, Mo. announced on Friday that he's picked up an offer from the Spartans.
Green made his offer from Michigan State known by posting on his social media X account. Green is currently committed to Missouri. He committed to the Tigers in April over notable offers from Iowa State, UCF, Liberty, Arkansas State and Kent State.
Green is listed as a three-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 87 in 247Sports' system. He is ranked as the No. 60 linebacker and No.
11 player from Missouri in the 2027 class. He is also listed as the No. 726 overall prospect in the class.
With Green only being committed to Missouri for a short amount of time, it'll be interesting to see if the Spartans can make up some ground on their flip approach. They'll certainly need to lock in an official visit for later this month or June if they're going to have any chance at prying him away from Missouri. All glory to God!
